Acceptable use policy (AUP)

Introduction

This policy governs your access to and use of the web application or application programming interface (together the Apps) made available by StructureFlow Ltd or any of its affiliates or licensees (we/us/our). The purpose of this policy is to protect the security and stability of our Apps and the data processed by those Apps, while ensuring that we comply with our legal obligations and agreements with our hosting and other technical service providers.

Account security

You shall keep your username, password and any other account credentials confidential and not share them with anyone. If you believe your account credentials have been compromised, you shall notify us immediately by email to: informationsecurity@structureflow.co

If we know or reasonably suspect that your account credentials have been compromised, we may suspend access to your account (or that of your organisation) and require you to reset them.

Restrictions on use

You shall not use or allow others to use our Apps:

    • for any illegal or fraudulent activity;

    • to infringe or violate the rights of others;

    • to threaten, incite, promote, or actively encourage violence, terrorism, or other serious harm;

    • to violate the security, integrity, or availability of any user, network, computer or communications system, software application, network or computing device;

    • to reverse-engineer or observe the functionality of our Apps for the purpose of developing a competing product or service;

    • to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our Apps unless we have expressly agreed to it; or

    • to distribute, publish, send, or facilitate the sending of unsolicited mass email or other messages, promotions, advertising, or solicitations (or ‘spam’).

AI-specific restrictions

In relation to any features of the Apps that use artificial intelligence (AI Features) you shall not:

    • use the AI Features in a way that would cause harm, misrepresent data, or engage in illegal or unethical behaviour;

    • use the AI Features for any purposes classified as ‘high-risk’ under the EU AI Act;

    • rely on outputs from the AI Features without first verifying its accuracy and appropriateness; or

    • obscure or misrepresent the operation of the AI Features or use them beyond their intended purpose as diagramming support.

Consequences of breach

If you breach this policy, then:

    • we may bring a claim for breach of contract against the organisation that employs or engages you (your employer);

    • we may suspend or permanently restrict you from using our Apps;

    • your employer may be entitled to take disciplinary action against you in accordance with your contract with them and their internal policies; or

    • we may report you to appropriate law enforcement agencies and take legal action against you personally.
